We should all be able to look at ourselves and compare who we are today with who we were before we accepted Christ and see a difference. Will we ever be absolutely perfect? No, we are not capable of perfection and will not see that until we finally see the Lord face to face, but…

Compared to 100 years ago, travel is now super fast. We can also communicate instantly instead of waiting for letters to travel. We are used to fast results and they still, often, are not fast enough for us.

If you want to trust someone, what do you need to know about them before you trust them? Before we decide if we will accept Jesus as our savior, we need to ask a question: Who is Jesus?

In addition to our salvation, we also receive a new identity. Today, I want to talk about this new identity and the changes it brings to our lives.

Jesus’ words, from the Sermon on the Mount, tell us from what place we can receive Him. The poor in spirit are those that recognize their need for Jesus, the Messiah, and are born of the Spirit.
